The current alpha contains two hand-crafted island layouts and supports 1–4 players in co-op. Expect rough edges. Expect darkness. Expect to lose your gear.

Alpha 0.3 — Fog System Overhaul
We rebuilt volumetric height fog from scratch this sprint. Fog now correctly pools in ravines, responds to the current danger level, and — critically — fully occludes enemy silhouettes at range. Finding the Lurker just got a lot harder.

The Lurker enters a fully dormant state when buried in fog and brush, only triggering on proximity — not line-of-sight. The Tank's chase state has been made permanent once acquired. You cannot lose it. You can only slow it down.

Average puzzle completion time with a 4-player squad landed at 4.2 minutes. Key feedback: teams struggled to split attention between puzzle coordination and perimeter defence once the Cyclops was nearby. We're leaning into that tension.
